Summary

Directs the Secretary of Defense to: (1) expand the Central Command Rest and Recuperation Leave program for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom to provide travel and transportation allowances to permit each member of the armed forces granted leave under the program to travel between the deployment location and the member's permanent station or home; and (2) report to Congress evaluating the feasibility and cost of permanently so expanding travel and transportation allowances available to members under future rest and recuperation leave programs.
