Summary
Jimmy Ryce Law Enforcement Training Act - Amends the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974 to require the establishment of the Jimmy Ryce Law Enforcement Training Center for the Recovery of Missing Children at the national resource center and clearinghouse on missing children established by the Administrator of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Requires that the Center be designed to: (1) assist high-level law enforcement leaders from across the country to develop effective protocols and policies for the investigation and prosecution of cases involving a missing or exploited child; (2) introduce those officials to resources available from the clearinghouse and Federal agencies to assist in such cases; (3) provide nationwide training in report-taking and data entry in such cases to ensure that necessary information is gathered and entered at the local level in a timely and effective manner; and (4) provide State-based basic investigation training in such cases for State and local police investigators.
