Summary
Older Americans Transportation Services Development Act - Authorizes the Secretary of Health, Education, Welfare under the Older Americans Act of 1965 to make grants to any public or nonprofit private agency, organization, or institution and to enter into contracts with any agency, organization, or institution, or with any individual perform specified research and demonstration projects, including: (1) research and demonstration projects regarding the feasibility of special transportation subsystems for use by older persons or similar groups with similar mobility restrictions; and (2) research and demonstration projects on portal to portal service and demand actuated services. Authorizes appropriations of $1,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1974 and $2,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1975. (Amends 42 U.S.C. 3031)
