To amend title 5, United States Code, to provide for the termination of any rights that a former spouse may have, in connection with receiving any portion of an annuity of a retired Federal employee, by reason of the remarriage of the former spouse.

Summary

Amends Federal law to require that, in the case of a former spouse, eligibility for payments based on any decree, order, or agreement shall terminate in the same circumstances as would apply if such spouse were receiving a survivor annuity based on such a decree, order, or agreement.
