Summary
Small Community Library Services Assistance Act - Directs the Commissioner of Education to provide funds to any county submitting an application (as set forth in this Act) for the purposes of providing library facilities and services, or constructing or expanding libraries, in small communities. Defines "small community" to be: (1) any city or village of less than 50,000 people; and (2) any city of between 50,000-70,000 people if the adjacent areas of that city have a population density of not more than 100 persons per square mile.
