Summary

Veterans' Educational Assistance Program Amendments of 1983 - Amends the Post-Vietnam Era Veterans Educational Assistance Program to require the Secretary of Defense to pay interest on the amounts contributed by a member of the armed forces to the Post- Vietnam Era Veterans Education Account. Permits a participant to transfer all or part of such participant's entitlement to such assistance to one or more dependents.
