Summary

Criminal Justice Information Services Placement Assistance Act - Authorizes noncompetitive, career or career-conditional appointments for employees of the Criminal Justice Information Services Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation who do not relocate from Washington, D.C. to Clarksburg, West Virginia, provided that: (1) the employee meets the qualification requirements prescribed by the Office of Personnel Management for the position to which appointed; (2) the last previous Federal employment was as an employee of such Division; and (3) the appointment is effected on or before September 30, 1999.
