Summary

Restoring Congressional Oversight and Strengthening Military Jointness Act - Prohibits the Secretary of Defense (DOD) from effecting or implementing the disestablishment, closure, or realignment of the United States Joint Forces Command, or conducting any civilian workload reductions at such Command, until: (1) 30 legislative or 60 calendar days have passed since the Secretary has notified the congressional defense committees of a proposed disestablishment, closure, or realignment; and (2) the Comptroller General has submitted to such committees an independent assessment of such proposal.
