Summary
Family Life Education Program Amendments of 1987 - Amends the Education Consolidation and Improvement Act of 1981 to authorize the Secretary of Education to carry out a program to assist elementary and secondary schools in introducing and improving family life education programs. Includes under such program: personnel training, curricula development, research, technical assistance, a clearinghouse, and grants for model programs. Requires that such program be carried out in coordination with related activities under the Public Health Service Act. Reserves specified amounts to carry out such program. Defines "family life education" as instruction to enable persons to make responsible choices concerning human sexuality, pregnancy, and parenthood.
