Summary

Colonias Wastewater Treatment Act of 1993 - Amends the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to authorize the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency to award a grant for wastewater treatment to a community that meets eligibility requirements of this Act or a political subdivision of a State acting on behalf of such community. Designates as an eligible community a community that: (1) is designated as a colonia and is located in the U.S.-Mexican border region; (2) is eligible to receive a grant on the basis of objective criteria; and (3) existed as a colonia before November 28, 1990. Authorizes appropriations.
