Summary
Federal Employees Equity Act of 1999 - Amends the Treasury, Postal Service, and General Government Appropriations Act, 1997 to: (1) require (current law authorizes) Federal agencies to reimburse up to half of the costs incurred by qualified employees for professional liability insurance coverage; and (2) redefine an eligible "law enforcement officer" to include customs officers, revenue officers and agents of the Internal Revenue Service, and Assistant U.S. Attorneys.
