Summary

Auction Completion Timing Act or ACT NOW Act - Amends the Miscellaneous Appropriations Act, 2000 to require provisions concerning an expedited schedule for the auction of electromagnetic spectrum in the 747-762 and 777-792 megahertz bands to remain in effect through September 30, 2002. Requires the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to conduct competitive bidding for such spectrum so that proceeds are deposited no later than such date (currently September 30, 2000). Amends the Communications Act of 1934 to authorize the FCC to determine spectrum auction dates.
