Summary

Authorizes the continuation of the Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations solely for the purpose of performing any contract entered into under the National Gambling Impact Study Commission Act. Revises restrictions on funds provided under the Community Oriented Policing Services Program and part Q (Public Safety and Community Policing; "Cops on the Beat") of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 concerning the provision of health benefits to public safety officers retired because of certain personal injuries sustained in the line of duty in certain emergency situations.
