Summary

Let Everyone Get Involved in Opportunities for National Service Act or the LEGION Act This bill authorizes The American Legion to expand membership eligibility to include veterans and servicemembers who served during times that were not designated periods of war. Currently, only veterans and servicemembers who served during periods of time specified by Congress are eligible to join The American Legion.
