Summary

Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior, for the purpose of the development of the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, to acquire lands or interests in lands, by donation, purchase with donated or appropriated funds, or exchange within the boundaries of the map specified in this Act. Provides that the total acreage of the park shall not exceed 1600 acres. States that nothing in this Act shall be deemed to authorize the acquisition without consent of the owner of a fee simple interest in lands within the boundaries in which less than a fee simple interest has been previously acquired by the Secretary. Authorizes the Secretary to provide, directly or by contract, an interpretive shuttle transportation service within, between, and among lands acquired for the purpose of such Park. Authorizes to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to provide for the development of the park. (Amends 16 U.S.C. 450bb; 450bb-2; 450bb-6)
