Summary

Expresses the sense of the Congress that: (1) the United States and the international community should ensure that the people of Bosnia-Herzegovina have adequate medical supplies, food, and other humanitarian assistance during the winter of 1993-1994; (2) the United States should support preparations to facilitate a relief effort in order to prevent a possible humanitarian disaster; (3) all parties should cooperate with the provision of humanitarian assistance to those in need throughout the former Yugoslav republics, especially Bosnia-Herzegovina; (4) the United States should provide similar assistance to the peoples endangered this winter throughout the former Yugoslav republics, especially Macedonia; and (5) the United States should expend appropriated funds for such purposes as expeditiously as possible.
