Summary
Welcomes Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the United States, asks the Prime Minister to communicate to the Turkish people the continued support of Congress and the American people, and recognizes the Prime Minister's visit as a significant step toward strengthening the relationship between the United States and Turkey. Thanks the Prime Minister and the Government and people of Turkey for their assistance in Afghanistan and postwar Iraq, and for their willingness to contribute to international peace, especially in the greater Middle East.
