Summary

Applies this resolution to the investigation by the House Committee on Education and Workforce into the administration of labor laws by Government agencies, including the Departments of Labor and Justice, concerning the International Brotherhood of the Teamsters and other related matters. Considers information obtained under the authority of this resolution as taken: (1) in the District of Columbia as well as at the location actually taken; and (2) in executive session by the subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations of the Committee. Authorizes the Chairman of the Committee, after consultation with the ranking minority member of the Committee, to: (1) order the taking of depositions or interrogatories anywhere in the United States, under oath and pursuant to notice or subpoena; and (2) designate a member, staff, or contractor of the Committee to conduct any such proceeding.
