Eelnõu kohaselt maksustatakse maagaasi võõrandamine 2026. aasta 1. novembrist kuni 2027. aasta 30. aprillini 13-protsendilise käibemaksumääraga. Alates 2027. aasta 1. maist kohaldatakse maagaasile taas üldist 24-protsendilist käibemaksumäära.
