Summary
Eelnõu eesmärk on ajakohastada perehüvitiste seaduses sätestatud sünnitoetuse ja lapsendamistoetuse määrasid. Seletuskirjas märgitakse, et toetuste suurendamine aitab parandada perede majanduslikku hakkamasaamist ning vähendada riski sattuda majanduslikesse raskustesse vahetult pärast lapse sündi. See on eriti oluline noorte perede ja paljulapseliste perede puhul, kelle kulud kasvavad järsult. Perede suurem turvatunne toetab pikaajaliselt positiivseid demograafilisi arenguid ning aitab kaasa laste heaolu ja sotsiaalse sidususe tugevdamisele.
