Act to amend the Private School Act, the Youth Work Act and the Basic School and Gymnasium Act

Summary

Eelnõu kohaselt muutub erakoolide tegevuskulude, ehk koolimaja ülalpidamisega seotud kulude katmine kohalikule omavalitsusele vabatahtlikuks. Seaduse jõustumisel jääb linnale või vallale võimalus erakoole toetada kui kohalik omavalitsus leiab, et vastav kool on kogukonnale vajalik. Erandina käsitletakse eelnõus erakoole, kus õpivad hariduslike erivajadustega lapsed. Ettepanek on toetada neid koole tunduvalt suuremas mahus ning pikema aja vältel. Seaduse jõustumise tähtaeg on 1. jaanuar 2017.
