Summary
Kohtute seaduses luuakse mehhanism, mis annab õiguse suunata kohtuasju lahendamiseks teise sama astme kohtusse, kui see on vajalik õigusemõistmise korrakohaseks toimimiseks. Muudatus annab kohtute tegevusele paindlikkuse suure töökoormusega toime tulemisel. Lisaks nähakse ette õigus saada erakorralist abi, arutades kohtu esimeeste nõusolekul vabatahtlikus korras asju ka teiste sama ja madalama astme kohtute juures ehk kohtuniku menetluslähetus. Täiendavalt võimaldatakse erandjuhul pikendada enda soovil või vanuse tõttu ametist vabastatud kohtuniku volitusi, kui see on vajalik talle jagatud kohtuasjade lõpuni menetlemiseks. Lisaks pikendatakse kohtuniku kohustust teatada ametist vabastamise soovist senise kuue kuu asemel vähemalt üheksa kuud ette.Tsiviilkohtumenetluse seadustiku muudatusega viiakse kõigi registriasjades tehtud kandemääruste peale esitatavate määruskaebuste lahendamine Tartu Maakohtu kaudu Tartu Ringkonnakohtu erialluvusse. Muudatuse eesmärgiks on koondada registriasjade kompetents püsivalt Tartu kohtute tööpiirkonda ning suurendada seeläbi kohtunike spetsialiseerumist.
