Summary
Eelnõuga täpsustatakse eritoidu turule viimisest teavitamise kohustust. Muudatusega asendatakse kohustus teavitada kõikidest eritoitudest kohustusega teavitada üksnes Euroopa Komisjoni rakendusaktidega ettenähtud eritoitudest. Esialgu on sellisteks toitudeks imiku piimasegu ja jätkupiimasegu ning meditsiinilisel näidustusel kasutamiseks ettenähtud toit. Seaduse jõustumine on kavandatud käesoleva aasta 20. juuliks. Nimetatud kuupäevast alates ei pea Veterinaar- ja Toiduametit enam teavitama gluteenivabast ja laktoosivabast toidust ning sportlastele ettenähtud toidust. Samuti ei pea eritoidu käitleja enam Veterinaar- ja Toiduametit teavitama sellest, kas eritoit on juba varem viidud mõne teise liikmesriigi turule. Tänu muudatusele väheneb eritoidu turuleviijate halduskoormus. Regulatsioon puudutab umbes 30 eritoidu turuleviijat Eestis.
