Summary
Eelnõuga ajakohastatakse, korrastatakse ja lihtsustatakse kaubanduse valdkonna õigusliku regulatsiooni, et vähendada nii ülereguleerimist, dubleerimist ja õigusliku regulatsiooni mahtu kui ka halduskoormust. Eelnõuga tunnistatakse kehtetuks kaubandustegevuse seadus ning muudetakse sellega puutumuses olevaid seadusi. Kaubandustegevuse seadus ei anna enam lisandväärtust kaubanduse valdkonnas tegutsevate ettevõtjate tegevuse reguleerimisel, sh toote ja teenuse nõuetele vastavuse tagamisel ega suhetes tarbijaga, vaid dubleerib majandustegevusele teiste seadustega kehtestatud reegleid. Eelnõuga ei seata kaubanduse valdkonnas ettevõtlusega tegelemiseks uusi piiranguid. Säilib ettevõtlusvabaduse teostamiseks vajalik õiguslik raamistik.
