Summary

The bill updates, organizes and simplifies legal regulation in the field of trade in order to reduce both over-regulation, duplication and the amount of legal regulation as well as the administrative burden. The bill repeals the Commercial Activities Act and amends related laws. The Trade Activities Act no longer provides added value in regulating the activities of businesses operating in the field of trade, incl in ensuring product and service compliance or in relations with the consumer, but duplicates the rules established by other laws for economic activity. The bill does not set any new restrictions for doing business in the field of trade. The legal framework necessary for the exercise of entrepreneurial freedom will be preserved.
