Summary
Eelnõuga ratifitseeritakse Eesti Vabariigi valitsuse ja Araabia Ühendemiraatide valitsuse vahelise lennuliiklust nende riikide territooriumide vahel ja väljaspool neid käsitlev kokkulepe. Kokkuleppega luuakse võimalus lennuühenduse pidamiseks kahe riigi vahel, mis hõlmab vastastikuse juurdepääsu tagamist lennuliinidele, võrdsete võimaluste tagamist ettevõtjatele ning mittediskrimineerimist ELi aluslepingutes sätestatud põhimõtteid arvestades. Seni õiguslikku alust Eesti ja Araabia Ühendemiraatide vaheliseks kahepoolseks regulaarseks lennuliikluseks ei olnud. Kokkuleppe jõustumisega kaasneb sotsiaalne ja majanduslik mõju ning mõju välissuhetele. Juba mõnda aega on AS Tallinna Lennujaam pidanud läbirääkimisi Araabia Ühendemiraatide lennuettevõtjatega seoses lendude alustamisega kahe riigi vahel. Käesolev kokkulepe annab selleks juriidilise aluse ning õiguse.
