Summary

The bill gives greater flexibility to companies applying for and holding an energy excise duty exemption permit to assess the length of the assessment period for qualifying for the excise duty relief. If the current law gives the possibility to evaluate electricity intensity and gas consumption intensity on the basis of the data of the last completed financial year, with the draft, the entrepreneur can freely choose the length of the evaluation period from one to four successive ones that have ended financial year.
