Summary
Eelnõu näeb ette loobuda Vabariigi Presidendi puhkuse regulatsioonist, mille järele puudub eluline vajadus ning mis ei sobi kokku riigipea staatusega. Eelnõu viib riigipea tegevust reguleerivad õigusaktid kooskõlla nii tegeliku olukorra kui ka tänapäevase digitaalse maailma võimalustega, milles Vabariigi President saab täita oma ülesandeid igal ajal ja igal pool. Enesekorraldusõigusele tuginedes on Vabariigi Presidendil võimalik näha endale ette perioodid puhkamiseks, seda Vabariigi Presidendi ametitegevusest tingitud kohustuste ja neist tingitud võimaluste piires.
