Eurocontrol's goal is to enhance cooperation between countries in the organization of air traffic in Europe, including making air traffic in European airspace smoother, safer and more efficient. The bill ratifies the 1997 and 2002 protocols of the Eurocontrol Convention, on the basis of which the European Union joins Eurocontrol. The Republic of Estonia signed both protocols on 26.11.2014. a. The European Union becomes a member as a protocol of the European Community of accession has been ratified, accepted or approved by all signatory countries on the one hand and by all EU member states on the other.
