Summary
Eelnõuga kaotatakse põhjendamatu erisus, mille tõttu ei ole Eestis kehtiv energiamajanduse korralduse seadus kooskõlas Euroopa Liidu energiatõhususe vastava direktiiviga. Direktiiviga on vastuolus kehtiva seaduse säte, mille järgi ei pidanud suurettevõtjast jaotusvõrguettevõtjad ja ülekandevõrguettevõtjad koostama regulaarseid energiaauditeid. Erisuse kaotamisel peavad edaspidi energiaauditeid tegema ka Elektrilevi OÜ ja AS Tallinna Sadam.
