Summary

The bill makes the regulation of subsistence allowance more flexible and promotes the employment of subsistence allowance recipients. The changes will abolish need-based family allowance. In order to encourage people to start working again, a transition period of two months is provided, during which the person will be paid subsistence allowance in the same amount as before. For the next four months, half of the salary will be excluded from the person's income when calculating the subsistence allowance. Such regulation increases the total income of an employed person. According to the new regulation, the income earned by underage students will not be included in the household income in the future when calculating the subsistence allowance.
