Summary
Eelnõuga viiakse seadus kooskõlla ELi õigusaktidega ja lahendatakse praktikas tekkinud probleeme. Olulise uuendusena kehtestatakse põllumajandusettevõtjatele ja -tootjatele sotsiaalse tingimuslikkuse süsteem, mis seob pindala- ja loomapõhised toetused töö- ja tööhõivetingimuste täitmise ning tööandja kohustuste täitmisega. Muudatused tehakse ka põllumajandustoodete ühise turukorraldamise abinõudes, mis puudutab koolikavasid, koostis- ja kvaliteedinõudeid ning turustusstandardite rakendamist. Koolikava puhul antakse ministri pädevusse otsustada määruse tasandil koolikava toetuse andmise täpsemad tingimused. Eelnõu näeb ette ka meetmed geograafilise tähise kaitse tugevdamiseks.
