Summary
The bill will halve the excise duty increase planned for 2018 on beer, other alcohol, and wine with an ethanol content of up to 6 percent by volume, as well as fermented beverages. The alcohol excise duty increases for 2019 and 2020 will remain the same at 10 percent and 20 percent for wine and fermented beverages with an ethanol content of more than 6 percent by volume.
