Summary
Eelnõu soodustab ohutu töökeskkonna loomist ja töötaja tervisekahjustuste ennetamist, parandab kehtiva korra õigusselgust ning vähendab tööandjate halduskoormust töötervishoiu ja tööohutuse nõuete täitmisel. Töötaja tervisekontrolli vajadus seotakse senisest selgemalt töökeskkonna riskidega. Töötaja tuleb suunata tervisekontrolli lähtuvalt töös esinevatest ohtudest. Edaspidi võib tööandja saata töötaja esmasesse tervisekontrolli pikema tähtaja jooksul, mis tähendab, et tervisekontroll viiakse läbi nelja kuu jooksul tööle asumisest. Uue korra järgi antakse töötajale ja tööandjale võimalus leppida kokku leppetrahvi maksmises töötervishoiu ja tööohutuse nõuete rikkumise eest. Muudatusega kaotatakse tööandja kohustus teavitada tööinspektsiooni tegevuse alustamisest, tegevusala muutmisest ja töökeskkonnanõukogu moodustamisest ning esitada igal aastal töökeskkonnanõukogu tegevuse aastaaruanne. Lisaks ei pea tööandja tööinspektsioonile raporteerima enam kõiki kergeid tööõnnetusi, vaid juhtumeid, kus tööõnnetuse tagajärg on ajutine töövõimetus, raske kehavigastus või surm.
