Summary
Eelnõuga laiendatakse eesti keele õppimise võimalusi Eesti kodakondsuse soovijatele. Riik pakub edaspidi võimalust sõlmida keeleõppeleping vähemalt viis aastat Eestis seaduslikul alusel elanud inimestel, kes vastavad põhilistele kodakondsuse taotlemise tingimustele ja kes soovivad taotleda Eesti kodakondsust. Lepingu kohaselt võimaldatakse lepingu sõlminud inimestele ühekordset tasuta eesti keele õpet nulltasemelt kuni iseseisva keelekasutaja tasemeni B1. Leping loetakse täidetuks, kui inimene on esitanud Politsei- ja Piirivalveametile taotluse kodakondsuse omandamiseks. Eesti keele kursustel osalemiseks makstakse lepingu sõlminud inimesele õppepuhkusel oldud päevadel keelekursustel osaletud kordade eest keeleõppehüvitist keskmise palga alusel 20 kalendripäeva eest. Keeleõpet hakkab korraldama Sisekaitseakadeemia.
