Summary
Eelnõuga muudetakse kehtivas energiamajanduse korralduse seaduses sisalduvat taastuvelektri osatähtsuse eesmärki aastaks 2030 nii, et aastaks 2030 moodustab elektrienergia summaarsest lõpptarbimisest vähemalt 100 protsenti senise 40 protsendi asemel. Kogu tarbitavast energiast, kuhu arvestatakse ka näiteks transpordikütus ja soojamajandus, peab taastuvenergia moodustama vähemalt 65 protsenti kehtiva 42 protsendi asemel. Eesmärgi täitmiseks kavandatakse lisaks toimunud vähempakkumistele viia 2024-2025 läbi täiendavad taastuvelektri vähempakkumised kokku vähemalt 1 TWh mahus. Lisaks peaks eesmärgi saavutamisele muu hulgas kaasa aitama tuulikutasu rakendamine ning meretuuleparkide lubade kiirem menetlus. Samuti on eraldatud lisarahastust elektrivõrkude valmisoleku kiireks tõstmiseks ning otsitakse võimalusi elektrivõrgu arengu pikaajaliseks suunamiseks suuremale valmisolekule uute taastuvelektri tootmisseadmete võrguga liitmiseks.
