Summary

The bill transposes the Directive on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of EU public sector bodies into national law. The purpose of the directive is to make websites, e-services and mobile applications of public sector institutions more perceptible, understandable and reliable for people, including people with disabilities. In the future, state and local government institutions, public legal entities, and those in possession of the information will be considered websites and mobile applications of a private legal entity or natural person must meet technical accessibility requirements that enable people with special needs to comfortably consume the content of the websites. In addition to accessibility, the law requires the date of publication and renewal of the document on the website to be indicated in the future. Also, the requirements established for web pages will also apply to mobile applications in the future.
