Summary
Eelnõuga võetakse riigisisesesse õigusesse üle ELi avaliku sektori asutuste veebisaitide ja mobiilirakenduste ligipääsetavuse direktiiv. Direktiivi eesmärk on muuta inimeste, sealhulgas puudega inimeste jaoks avaliku sektori asutuste veebilehed, e-teenused ja mobiilirakendused paremini tajutavaks, mõistetavaks ja töökindlaks. Tulevikus peavad riigi- ja kohaliku omavalitsuse asutuse, avalik-õiguslik juriidilise isiku ja teabevaldajaks oleva eraõigusliku juriidilise või füüsilise isiku veebilehed ja mobiilirakendused vastama tehnilistele ligipääsetavuse nõuetele, mis võimaldavad erivajadustega inimestel mugavalt veebilehtede sisu tarbida. Lisaks ligipääsetavusele, nõuab seadus edaspidi veebilehel oleva dokumendi avaldamise ja uuendamise kuupäeva märkimist. Samuti hakkavad seni veebilehtedele kehtestatud nõuded kehtima tulevikus ka mobiilirakendustele.
