Summary

The bill establishes in the motor vehicle tax law the basis for reducing the obligation of motor vehicle tax for children already this year. Parents or custodial adults with at least one 18-year-old child automatically receive the reduction. For each child, the parent's motor vehicle tax liability is reduced by up to 100 euros during one tax period, but not more than his total tax liability. If a child has several parents, who each also own a vehicle, the deduction is shared between them.
