Summary
Järgmiseks aastaks vähendatakse meresõiduohutuse seaduses nimetatud veeteetasude määra 25 protsenti, et toetada kaupade ja reisijate rahvusvahelist vedu merel. Veeteetasu suuruse vähendamine kehtib kõikidele laevadele sõltumata laevaliigist ja lipust, mille all laev sõidab. Muudatuste eesmärk on jätkata rahvusvahelise meretranspordi toetamist läbi Eesti sadamate ning võimaluse korral motiveerida kaubasaatjaid suunama oma kaubavoogusid läbi Eesti sadamate. Veeteetasude prognoositav laekumine 25% vähendatud määraga 2023. aastaks on ca 10 miljonit eurot, 2022. aasta lõpuks kehtiva 50% määraga prognoositavalt 8,1 miljonit eurot.
