Summary

The amendment to the law offers additional opportunities for pension collectors and allows contributions to the II pillar at a rate of 4 or 6 percent instead of the previous 2 percent. By default, the current 2 percent payment rate will remain in effect. The new payment rate always applies from January 1, and the application must be submitted no later than November 30 of the previous year. The payment rate can be changed once a year.
