Summary
The bill amends § 2 subsection 2 of the law in such a way that in the future the granting of repressed status to a child does not depend on the substantive reasons for the parents not returning to Estonia. From now on, children born during resettlement will be considered repressed, who were born within 5 years of receiving the release decision, regardless of what the parents' reasons were for not returning to Estonia.
