Summary
Seaduseelnõu eesmärk on aidata perevägivalla ohvritel vägivallaringist väljuda ja tagada neile parim kaitse ja turvatunne. Selleks täiendatakse korrakaitseseaduse §-s 44 sätestatud viibimiskeelu kohaldamise aluseid selliselt, et lisaks senistele alustele, on politseil võimalik rakendada viibimiskeeldu olulise ja kõrgendatud ohu väljaselgitamiseks või tõrjumiseks ohvriabi seaduse tähenduses perevägivalla ohvrite õiguste kaitseks. Muudatuses täiendatakse korrakaitseseaduse §-i 44, mille kohaselt saab politsei kohaldada viibimiskeeldu ohvriabi seaduse tähenduses perevägivalla ohvri õiguste kaitseks kuni 72 tundi. Samuti muutub viibimiskeelu protokollime perevägivalla juhtumite korral kohustuslikuks.
