Summary
Eelnõu täpsustab Kaitseliidu koostegevust Kaitseväega õppe- ja lisaõppekogunemistel, valmistumisel riigi kollektiivseks enesekaitseks sõjaliste kriiside puhul ja selle teostamisel, osalemisel rahvusvahelises sõjalises koostöös. Koostegevuse tingimused ja korra kehtestab Vabariigi Valitsus oma määrusega. Kaitseliidu seaduse muutmise seaduse §-s 52 on välja toodud ja üksikasjalikult lahti seletatud mõiste "vahetu sund", mis on otseselt seotud uue peatükiga Kaitseliidu julgeolekuala. Lisaks laiendatakse Kaitseliidu tegevliikme õigust saada sõjaväelisel väljaõppel osalemisel, Kaitseväe või korrakaitse tegevusse kaasumisel tööandjalt kuni 30 päeva tasustamata lisapuhkust, mille eest Kaitseliit võib maksta hüvitist. Kehtiva seaduse kohaselt on lisapuhkuseks kuni viis päeva.
