Summary
Eelnõu eesmärk on leevendada Lähis-Ida kriisist tingitud energiakandjate hinnasurvet Eesti tarbijatele ja ettevõtetele. Tulenevalt muutunud julgeolekuolukorrast ja sellest tingitud tarnehäiretest maailmaturul, on energiahindade järsk tõus loonud uue majandusliku keskkonna, kus varasemalt planeeritud maksutõusude rakendamine algsel kujul ei ole otstarbekas. Eelnõuga tühistatakse 2026. aasta 1. maiks kavandatud aktsiisimäärade tõusud mootorikütustele ehk bensiinile ja diislikütusele; kütteõlidele ning maagaasile ja elektrienergiale. Muudatused tulenevad vajadusest tagada majanduslik stabiilsus olukorras, kus jaemüügihinnad reageerivad globaalsetele kriisidele kiiresti. Kuna praegune hinnatõus on tingitud pakkumispoolsetest takistustest, on riigi samm suunatud täiendava maksukoormuse lisamise vältimisele. Muudatus aitab ohjeldada inflatsiooni ja toetab Eesti ettevõtete konkurentsivõimet olukorras, kus regiooniüleselt hinnad kasvavad
