Tulenevalt Riigikontrolli seadusest, mille kohaselt audiitori Riigikontrolli eelarveaasta tegevuse kontrollimiseks määrab Riigikogu rahanduskomisjoni ettepanekul. Vastavalt sellele esitab rahanduskomisjon otsuse eelnõu nimetada Riigikontrolli 2026.–2028. aasta tegevust kontrollima AVAC Audit OÜ.
