Summary
Eelnõuga tehakse Vabariigi Valitsusele ettepanek töötada välja majandusmeetmete pakett koroonaviiruse mõjude leevendamiseks meediasektoris. Algatajad peavad vajalikuks kaaluda vähemalt eriolukorra kehtimise ajaks ajalehtede kojukannete dotatsioonide suurendamist mahus, mis võimaldaks langetada kojukande hindu poole võrra. Postiettevõtte Omniva omanikuna võiks riik kaaluda kojukande arvete tasumise tähtaja edasi lükkamist eriolukorra lõpuni. Samuti tasuks kaaluda meediaväljaannete digitellimustele madalama käibemaksumäära kehtestamist. Kavandatavad meetmed peaksid aitama meediaettevõtteid ja selle töötajaid ning tagama meedia jätkuva toimimise.
