Summary
It is proposed to the government to submit draft amendments to the Language Act, the Media Services Act, the Advertising Act, the Penal Code and other necessary legislation, which: allow the public entities of the Republic of Estonia and private legal entities to use only the state language in those activities aimed at the Estonian population. According to the draft, a translation of the Estonian text into a foreign language, which must not be Russian, can be added. At the same time the Estonian text must be first and better viewed than the foreign language text. It is also necessary to ensure control and responsibility for the fulfillment of the above requirements.
