Eelnõuga tehakse valitsusele ettepanek töötada välja tegevuskava Eesti elanike maapiirkondades elamise toetamiseks. Selleks tehakse ettepanekud töötada välja täiendavad meetmed Eesti maapiirkondadesse eluaseme soetamise ja eluasemete rekonstrueerimise toetamiseks; eraldada riigieelarvest rahalised vahendid üürielamute programmiga jätkamiseks ja täiendada hajaasustuse programmi riikliku toetusega kaugtöö võimaluste parandamiseks ning kiire internetiühenduse loomiseks.
