Summary
Eelnõuga nähakse ette moodustada erakondade ülene Riigikogu uurimiskomisjon Kaitseministeeriumi valitsemisala rahakasutuse kontrollimiseks. Komisjoni kuulub igast fraktsioonist üks liige. Komisjoni ülesanne on selgitada välja Kaitseministeeriumi valitsemisalas ilmnenud rahakasutuse alaste süsteemsete puuduste ulatus ja põhjused ning teha ettepanekud olukorra parandamiseks, et taastada maksumaksjate usaldus kaitsevaldkonna suhtes. Komisjoni moodustamine on oluline, et Kaitseministeeriumi rahakasutuse osas tõusetunud küsitavused ei mõjutaks negatiivselt Eesti inimeste kaitsetahet ning valmisolekut riigikaitsesse panustada.
