Summary
Eelnõu näeb ette osalemise kuni 24 kaitseväelasega Ühendkuningriigi ühendekspeditsiooniväe (Joint Expeditionary Force – JEF) koosseisus. JEF on Ühendkuningriigi algatatud, omanduses ja juhitav ning teiste riikide liikmesusega tahtekoalitsioon. Eesti jaoks oli liitumine JEFiga loomulik jätk väga heale, lähedasele ja pikaajalisele kahepoolsele poliitilisele ning sõjalisele sidemele Ühendkuningriigiga. Eelnõu alusel kavatseb Eesti panustada 2019. aastal improviseeritud lõhkeseadmete vastase võitluse meeskonna, strateegilise kommunikatsiooni meeskonna, meedikute meeskonna, õhutulejuhi, miinituukrimeeskonna ja toetuselemendiga.
