The bill provides for the contribution of up to six defense personnel to Operation EUNAVFOR Med/Sophia. EUNAVFOR Med/Sophia's mission is to restrict the freedom of movement of human traffickers operating off the coast of Libya and to identify, seize and destroy vessels and other assets used or suspected of being used for smuggling or trafficking.
